Being Silly

The girls and I spent a few days earlier in the week at Grandma and Papa's house. The girls had lots of fun of course and loved being super silly! Here are a few shots I captured...

15 months and all is very well!

Wanted to share the stats from Peyton's 15 month exam today-

Height: 32 in, 90+%
Weight: 22 lbs 10 ozs, average %
Head: 18 1/2, ? %

She couldn't have received a cleaner bill of health and developmental news today which brought a huge ray of sunshine to us on this otherwise stormy, gloomy day!

Peyton's Extended Family

Valentine's Day brought some new additions to Peyton's extended family of...monkeys! Apart from her very favorite "Baby's 1st Christmas" monkey she has been glued to for over a year, Mr. Cheeky and Big Monkey have joined us! Mr. Cheeky even gives kisses with cheeks that light up when you press his belly! Maybe in time the ranking will change, but for now Christmas monkey still takes the #1 spot in Peyton's heart (well, the piece set aside for her monkeys that is :) )!

Happy 15 month birthday Peyton! It has definitely been an adventure seeing you develop into the little person you are today. We are so excited for the coming weeks when you will really start talking to us and adding even more joy and smiles to our days!

Love at first listen

Kylie absolutely loves Daddy's old ipod that we gave her. From Disney Princess to Hannah Montana tunes, Kylie loves that she can put on her headphones and hear what noone else can!

When I look at this picture taken last week I can't help but envision Kylie in the same pose 10 years from now. The scary part is, I know that day will be here sooner than we think! But instead of posing so cutely for Mommy with an ipod, she'll probably be up in her room, listening to music that Mommy will have never heard of, on the next latest and greatest electronic gadget!

What will be will be, as long as I still get a cute little smile pointed my way!
